A wave of spirituality swept through Parsabad as the Shri Shyam Seva Mandal successfully concluded its 14th Kirtan Samarooh. The event, filled with deep reverence and fervent devotion, was inaugurated by hosts Roshan Chawla and Anu Chawla through sacred ceremonies. Thousands of devotees from Jhumri Tilaiya and Parsabad joined in, creating an atmosphere brimming with divine energy. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Jankhi Prasad Yadav, former MLA of Barkatha. The Kirtan featured captivating performances by talented local artists and visiting singers, all offering their heartfelt tributes to Baba Shyam. In a post-Kirtan meeting, the Mandal finalized plans for upcoming events. A significant highlight was the announcement of this year’s annual festival, which promises to be an exceptionally grand affair. Mandal President Joshi Kumar revealed that the next kirtan is scheduled for December 28th, with the main annual festival set to take place on January 19th and 20th. The arrival of renowned Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal on January 20th is a major draw, sparking considerable excitement. The festival’s central events will be hosted at Block Maidan. A vibrant procession will take place on January 19th, beginning at Addi Bangla and touring various city routes before concluding at Block Maidan. The Shyam Seva Mandal appeals to all devotees to join in and contribute to the festival’s grand success.
