Police Probe Gruesome Bathroom Cremation Case in Jharkhand

Authorities in Dhanbad are investigating a gruesome event where a man attempted to cremate his sister’s remains in a bathroom. Lipika Kumari, who lived with her brother in the Vastu Vihar colony, passed away on April 8. Her brother, Pranav Rajvardhan, reportedly stayed with the corpse for several days before attempting an indoor cremation due to a lack of support from neighbors. Upon receiving complaints of smoke, police entered the house and found the charred remains. Forensic teams are now examining the scene, and police are looking into the family’s history of psychological distress.
