Rescue Operation Recovers Bodies of Four Men from Illegal Mine Tunnel

Authorities in Ramgarh recovered the bodies of four men following a tragic incident in an illegal coal mine near Chapi village. The operation, led by Ramgarh Police Station In-charge Naveen Prakash Pandey and Kujju OP In-charge Ashutosh Kumar Singh, involved a specialized 12-member rescue unit. The victims had entered a deep, unauthorized 'muhana' (mine mouth) in the forest area. Despite the challenging terrain and hazardous air quality, rescuers managed to pull out the deceased after several hours. The local administration has expressed deep concern over the recurring issue of unauthorized mining in the CCL-governed forest belts.
