The tragic event took place in Dudhkol village, under the Taljhari police station in Sahibganj. A dispute over land had been ongoing between Bajal Hembram and Noha Murmu’s families. The argument escalated on Wednesday. Bajal Hembram, fueled by rage, brutally attacked his relatives, the elderly woman Noha Besra, her daughter Badki Murmu, and her son-in-law Nathaniel Hansda, using sharp weapons and iron rods, causing their deaths.
Following the triple murder, the accused surrendered to the Taljhari police station and admitted to the crime. Police then went to Dudhkol village, where the bodies were found. The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem, and an investigation into the incident has begun. The iron rod used in the attack has been seized.
