Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav, an RJD legislator, has been re-elected as the Jharkhand Pradesh President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for the period of 2025-2028. His election was unopposed, marking his second consecutive term in the role. The confirmation came after the nominations of other potential candidates were rejected. Yadav is the MLA from Hussainabad. The nomination process concluded on June 14th, and the scrutiny took place on Sunday. Yadav’s nomination was deemed valid, leading to his acceptance. The other candidates failed to meet the requirements. Therefore, Yadav was declared the unopposed President. Yadav has previously won from Hussainabad in 2000, 2009, and 2024. Following his re-election, party workers offered their congratulations.
