As the Shravani Mela 2025 approaches, extensive efforts are being made to ensure the well-being of the pilgrims. Key preparations include the spreading of Ganga sand along the Kanwaria Path, specifically from Dumma to Khijuria, designed to prevent blisters. To combat the heat, ‘Indra Varsha’ systems are being strategically placed at 20 spots. These systems will provide refreshing water sprays from 8 AM to 5 PM. The path will also have 206 toilets, 82 hand pumps, and 9 water tap locations fed by tube wells, ensuring adequate access to essential facilities. The Path Construction Department is working towards a July 10th deadline for the completion of sand-laying. All these preparations are aimed at creating a safe and comfortable environment for the devotees participating in the Shravani Mela.
