SIDCOFED Expands Infrastructure for Ranchi Farmers

A crucial meeting of the Board of Directors of SIDCOFED was held at the Ranchi Collectorate, led by Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri. The session was marked by several strategic decisions aimed at revitalizing the cooperative ecosystem. The DC stated that the administration is committed to providing a platform where farmers can process and sell value-added products. Key among the approvals was the installation of millet processing units and oil extraction machinery for Sal and Karanj seeds at strategic locations in Rudia and Ormanjhi. These machines will allow the cooperative union to produce high-quality oils and processed grains, which have a much higher demand in the open market, transforming local rural lives.
