Addressing the root causes of accidents, the committee was informed that the tendering for the construction of Pandripani and Arani bridges on National Highway 23 has been completed and work will commence soon. Roadside damage from monsoon rains is being repaired, and the Road Construction Department has installed speed breakers at vulnerable points to enhance driver safety.
