Ranchi witnessed a shocking incident of violence where traffic police officers were assaulted by auto-rickshaw drivers. The assault occurred at Kathal More in the Nagri police station area and was captured on video, which has since gone viral. The footage reveals a confrontation between traffic police and a group of auto drivers, with the drivers reportedly using stones in the attack. One officer, Rohit Ganjhu, sustained severe injuries and was admitted to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for medical attention. Following the assault, the auto drivers fled the scene, and a police investigation has been launched to apprehend the perpetrators. The Ranchi Traffic SP has committed to taking strict action against those responsible for the attack, and the Nagri police station in-charge is overseeing the investigation. The video shows auto drivers attacking the police, and officers retaliating with batons before one officer was hit by a stone.
