J&Ok: Two cops, as many civilians killed as militants open hearth in Sopore

Two policemen and as many civilians had been killed and at the least three others injured on Saturday when militants opened hearth focusing on safety forces in Sopore city of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, officers stated.
Militants fired upon a joint occasion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police close to Main Chowk Sopore in north Kashmir district round midday, they stated.
The officers stated within the firing, two police personnel and two civilians had been killed.
At least three others, together with a policeman, had been injured within the assault, they stated.
The injured had been rushed to a close-by hospital from the place the injured policeman was taken to the Army’s 92 Base Hospital right here, the officers added.
The safety forces have cordoned off the realm and additional particulars are awaited, they stated.
