He challenged the ruling BJP in Haryana and at the center, demanding to know the nature of pressures that could precipitate such a dire event and calling for the immediate prosecution of those responsible. Gandhi stressed that this incident sends a chilling message to the Dalit community, implying that societal prejudice can undermine even the most accomplished members. He urged the Haryana Chief Minister to honor his commitments to marginalized communities and voiced apprehension regarding the duress reportedly faced by Kumar’s children. Gandhi appealed for swift government intervention to support the family and ensure justice.
