United Kingdom’s AI spearhead, Kanishk Narayan, originally from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, made a poignant return to the state after 20 long years. Landing in Patna Friday morning, he was received by senior JD(U) leader and MP Sanjay Jha, who hosted him at his residence.
Addressing the press, Narayan’s excitement was palpable. ‘Bihar brings immense joy—it’s my birthplace, and over 20 years later, the strides made here are remarkable. We’re advancing AI in Britain; Bihar’s momentum mirrors that vision,’ he enthused.
Jha underscored the minister’s enduring bond with Bihar. ‘A UK citizen and minister, Kanishk remains Muzaffarpur’s pride. His return after two decades is a moment to cherish,’ he remarked.
Afternoon plans feature meetings with state officials, hinting at burgeoning AI dialogues between Bihar and the UK governments.
Jha lauded the state’s progress. ‘Globalization demands tech prowess, and Bihar delivers. CM Nitish Kumar has laid the foundation. AI applications in health, farming, and services will transform us. As an agrarian hub, Bihar is set to rival the best,’ he predicted.
This homecoming not only celebrates personal roots but also spotlights Bihar’s tech ambitions and potential Indo-UK synergies in artificial intelligence.
