Karnataka gram panchayat election outcomes 2020 UPDATES: BJP leads on 5,255 seats, Congress forward on 3090

New Delhi: Counting for the Karnataka native physique elections is underway in several components of the state, together with Shivamogga and Davanagere. This is the second part of gram panchayat elections within the state. Voting for a similar had taken place on Sunday.

“Polling to 5,762 out of the total 6,004 gram panchayats will be held in two phases on December 22 and December 27. Meanwhile, counting will be held on December 30,” Karnataka State Election Commission mentioned.
The three important events that contested the polls are Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress and the Janata Dal-Secular.
UPDATES:
# BJP is main in 5,255 seats, Congress 3,090 and JD(S) 1,565.
# BJP is main in 4,750 seats, Congress 2,572 and JD(S) 1,341.
# BJP leads in 4,228 seats, Congress 2,265, JD(S) 1,167

# BJP is main in 4,180 gram panchayats, Congress 2,170 and JD(S) 1,130.

# BJP is main forward in 3,873 seats, whereas its important rival Congress is main on 1,988 seats.
# Elections have been held for 43,238 seats within the first part on December 22, whereas voting came about for 39,378 seats within the second part on December 27. A complete of two,22,814 candidates have been within the fray.
# While the primary part had seen a voter turnout of about 82 per cent, it was round 80 per cent within the second part.
