Kejriwal calls for enough safety for Kashmiri Pandits in Valley

NEW DELHI: Anguished over “targeted” killing of many Kashmiri Pandits within the Valley, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday demanded that they need to be given enough safety and their voices shouldn’t be “quelled”.

In an internet press briefing, he additionally mentioned that terrorist forces don’t desire communal amity in Jammu & Kashmir as members of the Kashmiri Pandit group are being “targeted and killed”, in a reminder of what occurred within the 90s.

He additionally mentioned that 16 Kashmiri Pandits have been killed this 12 months.

“I demand Kashmiri Pandits be given enough safety and and their voices shouldn’t be quelled.

“It is my appeal to the Centre that to help Kashmiti Pandits settle in Kashmir, we will all have to work together, and we are ready to play whatever role we can,” he mentioned.
