Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya accused Rahul Gandhi of frustration-fueled attacks on the AI Summit, linking it directly to Congress’s political wilderness. Responding to Gandhi’s social media broadside calling the event a ‘disorganized publicity gimmick’ that peddles Indian data and Chinese products, Maurya fired back in Lucknow.
During his interaction with the press, Maurya drew parallels with SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, both seemingly unable to tolerate India’s and UP’s growth stories. ‘The AI Summit buzz is electric across the globe, positioning India as the epicenter of artificial intelligence,’ he enthused.
Under PM Modi’s stewardship, the summit represents a monumental advancement, Maurya noted, with packed sessions at India Mandapam signaling its triumph. He stressed India’s military prowess in border defense and the imperative for leadership in technology and beyond.
Shifting gears, Maurya endorsed Maharashtra’s scrapping of religion-linked 5% reservation for Muslims. ‘Constitutionally sound, as Dr. B.R. Ambedkar barred faith-based quotas. Kudos to Devendra Fadnavis and team if this step is taken,’ he affirmed, reinforcing commitment to merit-based policies.
