Uttar Pradesh’s ambitious push into high-tech manufacturing took a giant leap forward in Germany, where Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya engaged with Quantum-Systems GmbH in a pivotal strategic summit. The talks centered on deploying quantum-enhanced drones and unmanned aerial systems to supercharge the state’s industrial growth.
Highlighting the transformative potential, Maurya stated that these technologies will form the cornerstone of UP’s evolving industry, driving job creation and technological sovereignty. Demonstrations revealed platforms with superior endurance—up to 160 km—and applications spanning military recon to civilian sectors like precision agriculture and disaster relief, already battle-tested by European armies.
The agenda expanded with inputs from defense heavyweights Helsing (HX-2 AI drones), Droneivo GmbH, SIA Origin Robotics, and Aronia AG, all keen on joint ventures in advanced surveillance and counter-drone tech. UP issued formal invitations for factory setups and innovation hubs, forging paths for comprehensive partnerships in production, R&D, workforce training, and knowledge exchange.
With world-class connectivity and pro-business reforms, UP is attracting global players to its electronics and AI ecosystems. Maurya envisions the state as India’s aerospace powerhouse, aligning with national goals of self-reliance. This influx of expertise promises to empower local talent, secure borders, and cultivate a vibrant drone industry poised for exponential expansion.
