Shillong police, as part of their inquiry into the Meghalaya honeymoon murder, have recovered a CCTV DVR from the Indore residence of Shilom James. James, a property dealer, was arrested for allegedly assisting in covering up evidence related to the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi. The DVR’s contents are expected to provide critical details to the ongoing investigation. James is accused of helping Sonam conceal items, including jewelry, a laptop, and potentially a weapon. The box containing these items was later disposed of, according to the police. In related news, Lokendra Tomar, another individual implicated in the case, was produced before the Gwalior District court. Authorities also detained Balvir Ahirwar, who worked as a watchman and carpenter in a flat where Sonam stayed after the incident, to question him regarding the case.
