A person was killed with sharp weapons after a gaggle attacked an autorickshaw on the village outskirts, and the police try to determine if he was killed as a part of the conflict, Superintendent of Police Mayur Patil mentioned.
“We have lodged a case of murder after the man was killed by some unidentified persons on the village outskirts, some 200 metres away from the place where the clash broke out. We are trying to find out who killed him and why,” Patil mentioned.
The sufferer, hailing from Jharkhand, was coming back from work in an auto-rickshaw when a gaggle of unidentified individuals carryinglathis (wood sticks) attacked the car, he mentioned.
“While other passengers managed to escape, the victim died of knife injuries. How he received the injuries is yet to be ascertained,” the SP mentioned.
The police later registered three separate FIRs. Two of the FIRs had been lodged by the 2 sides that clashed with one another, and one was associated to the homicide, one other official mentioned. Police have rounded up some individuals in reference to the incident, he mentioned.
