This CWC meeting in Patna is notable as it is the first in 85 years, and the first since India’s independence. Past CWC meetings in Patna were held in 1912, 1922, and 1940. Security has been increased at the Congress headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, in anticipation of the event.
