Lone lady amongst 10 ministers to be inducted in Punjab cabinet on Saturday

CHANDIGARH: Ten ministers, together with a lady, shall be inducted within the Bhagwant Mann authorities in Punjab on Saturday.

Among the ten ministers, eight are first-time MLAs. The swearing-in ceremony of the Mann’s cabinet shall be held at Punjab Raj Bhawan at 11 am, officers stated.

In a tweet on Friday night, Bhagwant Mann put out an image giving names of the ten social gathering MLAs who shall be sworn-in as ministers and congratulated them.

They embody Harpal Singh Cheema, second-time legislator from Dirba and the social gathering’s Dalit face. He was additionally the Leader of the Opposition within the earlier Assembly.

Two-time Barnala MLA Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer may even discover a berth within the Mann-led cabinet.

Other MLAs to be inducted within the cabinet are Dr Baljit Kaur, Harbhajan Singh from Jandiala, Dr Vijay Singla from Mansa, Lal Chand from Bhoa, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal from Ajnala, Laljit Singh Bhullar from Patti, Brahm Shanker from Hoshiarpur and Harjot Bains from Anandpur Sahib.

There are 18 berths within the cabinet, together with the chief minister.

After their oath-taking, the newly inducted ministers will assume cost within the Punjab Civil Secretariat and the primary cabinet assembly of the AAP authorities shall be held within the afternoon, sources stated.

Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit had on Wednesday administered the oath of workplace and secrecy to Bhagwant Mann in a ceremony at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

The Aam Aadmi Party romped residence with 92 seats within the 117-member Punjab meeting, decimating the Congress and the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party mix.
