Madhya Pradesh: New regulation towards stone pelters to incorporate auctioning offenders’ properties, says CM Shivraj Chouhan

New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday stated that the state will likely be framing a regulation towards stone-pelting.
Shivraj Singh stated this whereas addressing the media in Bhopal.

He stated that stone-pelters are enemies of society and whoever they’re their properties could be auctioned to compensate for losses.

His assertion comes within the wake of latest incidents of stone-pelting which occurred throughout rallies referred to as by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to fetch donations for the development of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. The rallies handed by means of Muslim-dominated areas of Ujjain and Indore, inflicting a lot disaffection.

On December 25 and December 29, clashes broke out in Ujjain’s Begum Bagh and Indore’s Chandan Kheri (60 kms from Indore) the place stones had been hurled from either side throughout clashes, inflicting injury to public property and life.

After the incident, a complete of 18 folks had been arrested in Ujjain whereas the National Security Act was invoked towards ten folks. In Indore’s Chandan Kheri, 27 villagers have been arrested and had been despatched to jail for pelting stones.
