As many as ten new child infants died after a fireplace broke out at a hospital in Maharashtra. According to the main points, the fireplace was reported within the Special Newborn Care Unit of a hospital, within the wee hours on Saturday. There had been 17 infants within the unit and 7 had been rescued, he added.

Fire brigade personnel rescued seven infants from the ‘inbound ward’ of the unit however couldn’t save the ten different infants, he stated.
