PUNE: Eleven individuals have been rescued from three homes after an adjoining residential construction collapsed in Maharashtra’s Pune metropolis on Thursday morning, fireplace brigade officers mentioned. No one was injured within the incident, they mentioned.
A wall of a ‘wada’, which didn’t have any occupants, crashed on an adjoining home in Kondhwa Budruk space, they mentioned. Wada is an previous cluster of homes with many rooms. Pune has been witnessing heavy rains since the previous couple of days.
“The wada was lying vacant. One of its walls collapsed on an adjacent house and five people living there got trapped,” a hearth brigade official mentioned.
