जम्मू-कश्मीर:

Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag police have notched up another victory in their relentless war on drugs. Following leads from a Srigufwara FIR, they obtained a search warrant from JMIC Bijbehara and zeroed in on Abdul Rashid Bhat’s residence in Shittipora.

The operation, bolstered by the expert K-9 dog squad, exposed a covert narcotics stash. Investigators recovered nearly 4 kilograms of charas, seizing it on the spot after completing all requisite legalities.

This professional takedown not only removes a substantial quantity of harmful drugs from circulation but also weakens the supply chain preying on vulnerable communities. Anantnag’s law enforcers are leaving no stone unturned in their mission to purge the district of addiction’s grip.

In a public appeal, officials encouraged citizens to come forward with tips on smuggling operations. Together, through vigilance and collaboration, Jammu and Kashmir can reclaim its youth from the shadows of substance abuse, paving the way for prosperity and peace.
