Haryana Sports Minister Gaurav Gautam dropped a political bombshell in Chandigarh, declaring that West Bengal is on the cusp of a BJP takeover. Mamata Banerjee’s exit from power is ‘certain,’ he proclaimed, as TMC’s fortress crumbles under public scrutiny.
During an IANS interaction, Gautam described Banerjee as ‘frantic,’ acutely aware of her waning influence. He lambasted her for fostering a culture of violence in governance. ‘The nation rejects violence, yet Mamata seeks to rule Bengal that way. Voters will deliver a crushing verdict, installing a Modi-led BJP regime,’ he predicted with conviction.
Turning to domestic matters, Gautam hailed the Union Budget’s transformative impact, particularly the over 33% surge in sports allocations. ‘From youth entrepreneurship and AI to MSME growth, it’s a comprehensive package,’ he observed.
For Haryana’s March 2 budget, expectations are sky-high. ‘It’ll be a game-changer for sports and youth, fulfilling demands for superior infrastructure, on-schedule rewards, and essential equipment,’ Gautam detailed.
The minister skewered opposition parties for their disruptive antics. ‘They stir trouble for media coverage, ignoring Haryana’s core concerns. It’s their go-to strategy,’ he charged.
Gautam aligned with RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat’s advocacy for three children, calling it ‘a wise and positive suggestion.’
These assertions come amid intensifying campaigns, with BJP leveraging national development narratives against regional incumbents. Gautam’s vision positions sports and youth empowerment as cornerstones of progressive governance, contrasting sharply with accusations of turmoil in Bengal.
