The Ministry of External Affairs reported that 1,563 Indian citizens have been deported from the United States as of July 16, 2024. Moreover, the MEA addressed incidents involving Indian nationals in the US, including a shoplifting arrest and a case of alleged possession of child pornography, underscoring the need for Indian citizens to adhere to the laws and regulations of the host country.
