Meghalaya: Six miners killed after unlawful coal mine collapsed in Rymbai village

New Delhi: In yet one more coronary heart wrenching incident, a minimum of six miners have been killed after an unlawful coal mine reportedly collapsed in Rymbai village in East Jaintia Hills (EJH) district of Meghalaya on late Thursday evening.
Confirming the information, Chief Minister Congrad Sangma stated that he’s conscious of  the incident , however he’s but to get the small print.
The our bodies of the miners have been retrieved on Friday morning. They have been despatched to the Community Health Centre in Khliehriat for an post-mortem.

2018 Incident at Ksan village
It was on December 12, 2018,  the same incident occurred which claimed the lives of a minimum of 10 miners at Ksan village in Eastt Jaintia Hills, had rocked the whole state and the Northeast.
The tragic incident occurred when the water of the close by Lytein river gushed into the 350-feet deep rat-hole mine at Ksan space within the district.
An individual named, Krip Chullet, who was allegedly concerned in hiring labourers, overseeing the work and sending them down the shaft, was arrested from his house in Norman village in the identical district.

Krip Chullet was arrested for inflicting demise because of negligence and varied sections of the Prevention of Damages to Public Property Act and the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, the SP stated.
