MiG-21 plane of IAF crashes in Rajasthan; pilot secure
A MiG-21 plane of the Indian Air Force crashed on Tuesday night time close to Suratgarh in Rajasthan, officers stated.
The pilot of the plane ejected safely, the IAF stated, including the incident passed off round 8:15 pm.
“During a training sortie in the western sector, a MiG-21 Bison aircraft experienced a major technical malfunction this evening. The pilot ejected safely at about 2015 hrs. There is no loss of life,” the IAF tweeted.
It stated a courtroom of inquiry has been ordered to establish the reason for the accident.
