Madhya Pradesh Cabinet on Friday authorised a Penal Law (Madhya Pradesh Amendment) Bill, 2021 to provide life imprisonment to meals adulterators. Informing about it, the state’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra mentioned, “Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved Penal Law (Madhya Pradesh Amendment) Bill, 2021 to give life imprisonment to food adulterators.”
It is noteworthy, in December 2019, an consciousness rally was held in Bhopal to combat the menace of adulteration. The rally noticed the participation of individuals of all age teams.

The rally was held from Roshanpura to Lal Parade within the capital metropolis. 
The enthusiastic volunteers had been heard elevating slogans towards adulteration and demanded pure meals merchandise.
