The Delhi police have detained Salman, the initial owner of a Hyundai i20 car involved in a startling explosion near the Red Fort. The incident, which saw the vehicle with license plate HR 26 7624 erupt while carrying three passengers, is under intense scrutiny. Salman has reportedly informed investigators that he sold the car to Devendra of Okhla, who then sold it to a buyer in Ambala, Haryana. The police are actively pursuing leads to identify the current owner with the assistance of the RTO and have secured all pertinent documentation. A senior police official noted that the explosion’s aftermath presented anomalies, such as the lack of visible blast damage like craters or shrapnel injuries, prompting a broader investigation.
