Former Odisha Chief Minister and current Leader of the Opposition, Naveen Patnaik, was admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Sunday due to dehydration. The leader of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is reported to be in stable condition and is under medical supervision for additional tests. The medical team has confirmed that the treatment is showing positive results. Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, accompanied by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan and Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh, visited the hospital to check on Patnaik. They reported that his condition is stable. Doctors indicated that dehydration necessitated the hospitalization. The Health Minister mentioned that the hospital has been directed to provide all possible support and that the government will offer assistance if needed. Medical professionals are maintaining continuous contact with the health department. Patnaik is currently receiving care in the ICU, and the medical team is providing updates. Prayers for his rapid recovery are being offered.
