Chaitra Navratri brought a creative storm to Uttar Pradesh’s public schools, where Mission Shakti’s sixth phase unleashed artistic fervor among 2.33 lakh kids. From basic schools to KGBVs, students meticulously designed posters of the mighty Navdurga: starting with Shailaputri, culminating in Siddhidatri.

Infused with motifs of boldness, tenderness, and self-sufficiency, these works adorned walls like festival banners, celebrating talent and signaling women’s role in leadership revolutions.

Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh lauded the fusion of faith and forward vision. ‘Mission Shakti commits us to empowered girlhood,’ he declared. It’s a fresh tactic to instill Nari Shakti’s essence, bolstering culture and command skills.

Workshops mapped goddess qualities to empowerment pillars—endurance from Chandraghanta, wisdom from Kushmanda—fostering dialogues on schooling, safeguards, pride, and privileges. Students internalized their power for societal impact.

Mission Shakti emerged in teachings as an equality uprising. Vocal girls proclaimed ambitions, rejecting confines for conquests across domains. The wave hit communities, igniting collective consciousness.

School Education DG Monika Rani affirmed its role in forging grit, poise, and guidance abilities rooted in tradition. This initiative reimagines Navratri as empowerment’s launchpad, with UP leading India’s charge for girl-centric progress.
