In Sambalpur, Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister, actively participated in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ plantation drive. He emphasized the drive’s contribution to environmental sustainability, SDG fulfillment, and India’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2070. The participation of schools, colleges, and other organizations helped in transforming the initiative into a broad-based movement. Additionally, he participated in the Rath Yatra celebrations and observed the advanced crowd management techniques implemented by the ICCC in Puri.
