Ahead of the 2021 new 12 months’s eve celebrations, Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Thursday imposed an evening curfew within the nationwide capital. The authority issued a round stating that no more than 5 individuals to be allowed to assemble at public locations. Moreover, no new 12 months celebration occasions or gatherings are permitted at public locations from 11 pm on December 31 to six am on January 1 and 11 pm on January 1 to six am on January 2.

The restrictions come after 20 recent circumstances of recent coronavirus variants had been discovered among the many returnees from the UK to India. The authorities authorities are imposing stringent coronavirus curbs amid the COVID-19 new pressure scare.    

Meanwhile, Kolkata Police have taken measures to make sure that all COVID-19 security protocols are maintained and there’s no massive gathering for celebrating New Year’s eve, as ordered by the Calcutta High Court to verify a spike in infections.
