Bihar’s political grapevine is abuzz with talks of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant entering the Rajya Sabha, and LJP (RV) MLA Raju Tiwari has chimed in positively, saying any such move would be celebrated.
‘If Nishant steps into politics, our party will roll out the red carpet,’ Tiwari asserted. He credited Nishant’s youth and his father’s decades-long contributions to Bihar’s progress as ideal ingredients for leadership.
Describing Nishant as a new-generation thinker with religious values, Tiwari believed his involvement would uplift the state. Turning to rivals, he quipped about Tejashwi Yadav, ‘His leadership as opposition leader? Bihar’s got the full picture.’
Tiwari forecasted a total NDA victory in Bihar’s five Rajya Sabha seats. ‘Nishant, as the CM’s son, has never courted controversy. His future shines bright. Let’s see him work on the ground for Biharans,’ he urged.
The push for Nishant’s entry isn’t new—JD(U) workers have repeatedly voiced it through posters, though official word from the family is absent.
With NDA united behind its strategy, Tiwari’s comments reflect broader optimism. This development could reshape Bihar’s power equations, blending legacy with youthful vigor.
