Alert Noida police have exposed a brazen theft gang that terrorized Delhi-NCR neighborhoods, arresting four members and reclaiming property worth ₹12 lakhs. The Phase-3 station’s crack team used a combination of human intelligence and tech-driven monitoring to zero in on the culprits gathered at Tipinagar Chowk on January 31.
From the gang’s hideout, sleuths unearthed 15 stolen laptops, four phones, and two motorcycles—prime targets in their hit-and-run burglaries. Interrogations revealed a slick system: steal high-value electronics and vehicles, sell them dirt-cheap, and divvy up the cash seamlessly.
Named suspects Aamir Khan alias Kalu, Abhishek Kumar, Yogendra Chauhan alias Lanka, and Arjun boast extensive rap sheets. Veterans like Aamir and Yogendra face past indictments for drug trafficking and larceny, while the others are repeat offenders in property crimes.
Ongoing investigations aim to connect the dots to broader networks and specific cases. With FIRs filed and custody secured, police anticipate a domino effect, resolving multiple dockets. This victory highlights Noida’s commitment to proactive policing, urging citizens to report suspicious activities for a safer tomorrow.
