After resorting to street blockade, the protesting farmers have now introduced a four-hour nationwide ‘rail-roko’ (railway blockade) on February 18. Earlier this month, the agitators had noticed a three-hour street blockade to press their demand of repealing the three legal guidelines. Thousands of farmers have been protesting towards the three legal guidelines which have been enacted in September final yr.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha, which is spearheading the protest, introduced that toll assortment is not going to be allowed in Rajasthan from February 12.
