Officials Pulled Back from Amarnath Yatra Duty Amidst Statehood Speculation

The Jammu administration has issued an order for officers engaged in Amarnath Yatra duties to return to their original postings, fueling discussions about the future status of Jammu and Kashmir. The order applies to officers in the Yatri Niwas base camp in Bhagwati Nagar, the Ram Temple in Old Mandi, and the Geeta Bhawan in Parade. The official statement clarified that all officers and employees currently at these locations under the previous orders for the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 are to be released from their duties immediately. Furthermore, the order directs all concerned officers and employees to report back to their original posts to continue their regular assignments.
