GUWAHATI: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Saturday insisted on the decision of worldwide points via mutual dialogue and diplomacy.
Speaking on the Mid-Year Executive Committee Meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in Guwahati, he mentioned worldwide peace and stability are important for world prosperity.
Referring to local weather change, Birla emphasised India’s dedication to attaining the targets accepted below COP26. He talked about initiatives just like the International Solar Alliance and expressed confidence about attaining the targets below the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Highlighting India’s success in conducting polls from panchayat to Parliament, the Speaker mentioned the perseverance and success in conducting elections to 800 parliamentary seats, almost 4,500 meeting seats and a couple of.75 lakh panchayats testified that Indian democracy is useful, progressive and profitable.
He categorically said that unity in variety is India’s best energy and mentioned, “We are all united despite our linguistic, cultural, geographical and religious diversities.”
