Parliament funds session: PM Modi to chair all-party assembly on Jan 30

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair an all-party assembly on January 30 throughout which the federal government will put forth its legislative agenda for the Budget session of Parliament, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi mentioned on Wednesday.
He mentioned the assembly can be held just about and an invite has been prolonged to flooring leaders of all events.
An all-party assembly is a customary process earlier than the start of each session of Parliament to make sure its clean functioning. However, this time it’s being held a day after the session begins on January 29.

“The all-party meeting will be held on January 30, where the government will put forth its legislative business for the Parliament session and would also listen to the opposition’s suggestions,” Joshi instructed PTI.
The Budget session of Parliament is ranging from January 29 and can be held in two elements.

The first half will conclude on February 15 and the second half can be held from March 8 to April 8.
Parliament will sit in two shifts with Rajya Sabha within the morning and Lok Sabha within the night.
