In a rallying cry for the nation’s future, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to speak at the prestigious NCC PM Rally at Kariappa Parade Ground in Delhi this Wednesday. The event concludes the dynamic NCC Republic Day Camp 2026, which engaged 2,406 cadets nationwide, prominently featuring 898 female participants.
Centered on ‘Nation First – Duty-Bound Youth,’ the rally promotes core values of responsibility and patriotism. Notably, 207 young participants and officials from 21 countries will join, enriching the occasion with global perspectives.
A highlight will be the cultural extravaganza by NCC cadets, National Stadium representatives, and NSS volunteers, depicting their pivotal roles in national development, public service, and moral growth. Modi’s address on putting country first and nurturing character will set the tone for inspiration.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s recent camp visit reinforced NCC’s importance as the country’s backup defense line. He motivated cadets by citing their awareness efforts during Operation Sindoor simulations. ‘As the world faces uncertainties, prepare yourselves holistically to confront all adversities,’ he advised.
Singh vividly described Operation Sindoor’s success: Indian forces eliminated terrorists in enemy territory following the dastardly Pahalgam attack. ‘Courage, control, and comprehensive strength enabled targeted justice without collateral harm,’ he said.
Emphasizing NCC’s role in building discipline and national pride, Singh noted its aid in overcoming focus issues, benefiting cadets in any profession—soldier, healer, innovator, educator, or leader—fueling India’s rise.
