Rahul Gandhi is leading a ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ in Bihar to address allegations of election misconduct and present evidence related to it. The yatra, which commenced in Sasaram, is aimed at tackling issues of vote manipulation and the Bihar Voter List Revision, with criticism aimed at the Election Commission and the BJP. The yatra is scheduled to last approximately 16 days, covering 25 districts, with the participation of Tejashwi Yadav and Left party leaders. The second-day itinerary is as follows: The yatra will commence at 8:00 AM, with the route including Dev Road, Amba-Kutumba, Telhara, Patalganga, and Purana Thana Mor, leading to Dev Surya Temple. Leaders will visit Dev Surya Temple at 9:30 AM. The afternoon session, beginning at 4:00 PM, will cover Guraru, Bagdiha Mor, Ahiyapur Road, Daudnagar-Gaya Road, Panchanpur, Kewali, and Delhi Overbridge. A public meeting will be held at 6:30 PM, followed by the conclusion of the day at Khalish Park, Gaya, at 7:30 PM. Rahul Gandhi, promoting the yatra on social media, emphasized the fight to protect the foundational democratic principle of ‘one person, one vote’. He stated that the journey would cover over 1,300 kilometers and more than 20 districts in a 16-day period.
