The meeting concluded with the Bengaluru Declaration, which expressed gratitude to Rahul Gandhi for his role in advocating for social justice. The declaration credited Gandhi’s efforts for the push to conduct a caste census. Siddaramaiah stated the census is a step forward in realizing constitutional goals, highlighting the creation of a more equitable society. He also highlighted the commitment to the Congress party under Gandhi’s leadership. The declaration also includes the resolution that the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India (ORGI) conduct a nationwide caste census, based on the Telangana SEEEP Caste Survey.
