A constable with the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary died by suicide in Jhunjhunu after attacking his wife and son with a sword. The couple had been married for seven years but separated two years ago. The constable was posted in Sriganganagar, and his wife and son lived in rented accommodation in Jhunjhunu. During a visit, a dispute led to the assault, with the wife sustaining serious injuries to her hands and the son suffering a deep neck wound. Following the attack, the constable was found deceased on railway tracks. Police suspect suicide by train. A video, allegedly made by the constable, surfaced during the investigation. In the video, he alleged his wife was involved in an extramarital affair and pregnant with the other man’s child. Separately, in Assam, three women were killed after being hit by a train during their morning walk.
