Bharatiya Kisan Union president Naresh Tikait on Wednesday known as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh a “caged parrot” and stated the farmers’ points could possibly be resolved if he’s given the liberty to speak with them.
He accused the BJP-led central authorities of being “stubborn” over the three new legal guidelines, which farmer unions need repealed. The protesting farmers too aren’t prepared to return on their calls for, he stated.
“The government has made Defence Minister Rajnath Singh a caged parrot (‘pinjre ka tota’). msp If he is given the freedom to talk to farmers, I can guarantee that there would be a decision and the BJP’s prestige will also remain intact,” he stated.

He stated farmers respect the Defence Minister, however he isn’t given an opportunity by the federal government to cope with the farmers’ situation.
