Ranaut’s Objectionable Jab at Rahul Gandhi Blasted by Tarek Anwar
1 min readBJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s provocative swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Parliament has sparked outrage from colleague Tarek Anwar. The Congress lawmaker, in an IANS interview here, downplayed the shock value of her words, attributing them to her non-political, entertainment industry roots.
‘She’s not from politics, so this kind of offensive speech against the LoP is regrettably expected,’ Anwar quipped. He lamented her apparent obliviousness to the decorum essential for referencing opposition stalwarts.
Reacting to Shashi Tharoor’s accolade for India’s Middle East diplomacy, Anwar termed it a solo viewpoint. He pushed for unwavering allegiance to allies who proved reliable in adversity.
‘Friends in need during dark days merit our resolute support—that’s realpolitik,’ he emphasized, critiquing the lack of definition in India’s stance amid US-Israel-Iran hostilities.
The MP unleashed a broadside against ‘Dhundhar 2,’ branding it a toxic mix of ideology and gore aimed at maligning a particular group. ‘These baseless allegations and violent depictions will stoke hatred, fracturing our social tapestry,’ Anwar cautioned. He implored the administration to act decisively against films that imperil communal peace and future stability.
