The RSS orchestrated a splendid observance of India’s traditional New Year, Varsha Pratipada, in Ranchi, attracting over 500 participants—swayamsevaks, empowered women, enlightened minds, and noble souls—from across society.

In his keynote, Prant Pracharak Gopal Sharma proclaimed Chaitra Pratipada surpasses calendrical transition; it’s Indian philosophy incarnate, heralding nature’s renaissance and universal origin. Tradition marks it for Brahma’s creation and Navratri’s launch, a ninefold adoration of Shakti avatars.

Sharma delved into Shakti’s pivotal role in Bharat’s culture. Through Navratri’s vows of abstinence, austerity, and control, one eliminates toxic impulses like spite, grudge, greed, hubris, attaining soul refinement and vigor. Empowered collectivity alone forges protected, thriving nations, he affirmed.

Honoring RSS pioneer Dr. Hedgewar, Sharma detailed his humble birth yet total devotion to rashtra-seva. The 1925-founded Sangh, now centennial-bound, permeates societal spheres with constructive reforms.

He advocated social integration, obliterating caste, strata, prejudice for ekatmata. Urging Swadeshi adoption—Indian wares, speech, heritage first—Sharma inspired action. Dignitaries like Mahanagar Sanghchalak Shashikant and pracharaks enriched the gathering.
