‘Receiving dying threats on social media, urge Delhi Police to take observe’: Expelled BJP chief Naveen Jindal

NEW DELHI: Days after being expelled from the BJP over his controversial remarks towards Prophet Mohammad, occasion’s former Delhi media head Naveen Kumar Jindal on Tuesday claimed that he and his relations have been receiving “death threats” on social media platforms.
Jindal had come below assault on social media after his tweet about Prophet Mohammad on June 1.
“Me and my family members have been receiving death threats on social media platforms. I would like to request Delhi police to kindly take note of it,” Jindal wrote on Twitter.
On Sunday, a communication from Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta to Jindal mentioned his views on social media vitiate communal concord and are in violation of the occasion’s elementary beliefs.
He has acted towards the occasion’s insurance policies and beliefs, Gupta had mentioned.
“Your primary membership is immediately terminated and you are expelled from the party,” Gupta had mentioned within the communication.
Jindal mentioned that he had tweeted asking a query to these attacking and insulting Hindu deities and it was not geared toward hurting the spiritual sentiments of any group.
Jindal, a former journalist with over twenty years of expertise, has attracted controversy by way of his social media posts previously too.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has supplied safety to suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and her household after an FIR was registered on a grievance that she was getting dying threats over her controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad, officers mentioned.
She had requested the police to supply safety citing harassment and threats she had been receiving.
