RSS Centenary Celebrations: PM Modi to Participate, Release Commemorative Items

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in a function in Delhi today, which is part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) centenary celebrations. A commemorative postage stamp and a coin, designed specifically for the occasion, will be released. PM Modi will be the chief guest at the event and will deliver an address. In other news, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has declared a day of state mourning following the demise of Vijay Kumar Malhotra, a senior leader and former minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In Chennai, nine migrant laborers died after a building under construction at the Ennore Thermal Power Station collapsed; all victims were from Assam.
