Union Minister of State Satish Chandra Dubey showered praise on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar amid his transition to Rajya Sabha, revealing that the leader plans to supervise state projects remotely from Delhi.
During an interaction in New Delhi, Dubey reflected on Kumar’s legacy. ‘There’s no farewell in politics,’ he said, recounting how Kumar dismantled the ‘jungle raj’ era, replacing chaos with stable ‘sushasan’. Bihar’s metamorphosis under Kumar – from infamy to infrastructure hub – is unparalleled.
Kumar’s rule stood out for establishing ‘nyay ka raj’ or rule of justice, coupled with holistic development. Remarkably, he integrated all social strata, ensuring no one was marginalized. This inclusivity has been the cornerstone of his popularity and repeated electoral victories.
Dubey recalled that discussions on Bihar’s rise always spotlight Kumar’s name. His nomination for Rajya Sabha is a natural progression, and from the capital, he’ll maintain oversight on development fronts. ‘His contributions to Viksit Bihar continue unabated.’
Turning to national politics, Dubey criticized West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s stance against voter list revisions. ‘With her grip weakening, she’s spinning webs of deceit,’ he charged. The Election Commission’s impartial SIR process shouldn’t face TMC’s baseless resistance. Bengal, he forecasted confidently, is heading towards BJP governance.
